AKÇAKOCA
It is easy to reach Akçakoca from the big citys of İstanbul and Ankara because of Bolu mountain tunnel was completed. Akçakoca is 2,5-3 hours far from İstanbul and Ankara. Also you can see diffrent promenades, scenic beauties and an important archaic city on the road.
Previously Akçakoca was countryside of Düzce. When we don’t know Aegean and Mediterranean coasts domestic tourists have shown interest in Akçakoca. But later on this interest was gradually to fall. Population of the city is not crowded, around 15.000. Roman and Byzantine civilizations have left their mark to the city and this city called Diapolis.
